Pricing & Frequently Asked Questions
How much do lessons cost?
At FluentIQ, each tutor sets their own lesson rates independently. This means that prices may vary from tutor to tutor depending on their qualifications, teaching experience, language combinations, and lesson format.
You can view each tutor’s pricing directly on their profile before booking a lesson.
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
Students can cancel a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson may not be eligible for a refund.
If a student does not show up for a scheduled lesson (a “No Show”), and the tutor has waited at least fifteen (15) minutes for the student to join, the student is not entitled to a refund for that lesson.
Can tutors decline students?
Yes. Tutors have the right to decline or discontinue lessons with any student at their discretion.
This policy helps ensure a positive and productive learning environment and allows tutors to work with students whose goals and expectations align with their teaching style and expertise.
What if I am dissatisfied with a lesson?
If you are dissatisfied with a lesson, please contact FluentIQ’s support team as soon as possible.
We review each case individually and strive to find a fair solution for everyone involved. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a full or partial refund, a lesson credit, or another mutually agreed resolution.
Our goal is to ensure that every student has a positive learning experience.
How do I choose the right tutor?
You can browse tutor profiles, compare teaching experience, languages spoken, lesson styles, and pricing to find the tutor who best matches your needs and learning goals.
If you are unsure, we recommend booking an introductory lesson to see whether the tutor is the right fit for you.
